In a surprising turn of events on Wednesday 6th March 2024 at the West Hills Mall during The Ghana Trade Fair, the Ghanaian Tourism Ambassador, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, left the GHLIFE TV News team in a state of dismay by declining an interview request.
On the initial encounter, a member of Aduonum’s team advised GHLIFE TV workers to return later, citing her need for rest after a series of participant interviews. Respectful of her schedule, the GHLIFE TV team complied and returned as instructed.
The Ghana Trade Show is the main international event for all trades. Setting new highs for participation from over 20 countries & visitors from over 12 African countries, the event is all set for its exhibitors to meet serious buyers within the 3 days.
The event continues to lead the way in showcasing the new products & technology not only to Ghana but also to its surrounding countries.
Afua Asantewaa, who commenced her attempt to break the sing-a-thon record on Christmas Eve, concluded on Friday, December 29, 2023, after an impressive 126 hours and 52 minutes was still disqualified by the Guinness World Record.
In the second attempt, another team member assured the news crew that the Ghanaian Tourism Ambassador, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum would grant them an interview.
However, after patiently waiting for over 10 minutes, the situation took an unexpected turn. A different team member approached, conveying Aduonum’s decision not to engage in an interview with GHLIFE TV.
This unexpected rejection has left both the news team and their audience puzzled, raising questions about the reasons behind Aduonum’s sudden change of stance. The incident adds a layer of intrigue to an otherwise routine coverage of The Ghana Trade Fair event.
